Home Theatre and Film School School Workshops Holiday Clubs

Red banana drama is a Young Peoples Theatre and Film  school created by  Kerry Boorman. The school began in 2002  and is run by Kerry and other  professional freelance  practitioners.

Red banana drama is a process centred school where the  emphasis is not on  producing the next generation of actors  but on using drama techniques,  games, exercises and  performances to create a fun and enjoyable  environment  where young people are encouraged, motivated and  challenged.

Red banana drama is based in Dumbleton and its after  school classes run  from Dumbleton Village Hall. Kerry also  works as a freelance drama  practitioner under the name red  banana drama in schools, theatres and  youth clubs.

Kerry has qualified!

Many thanks to all those who have shown an interest during the past 3 years while I have been training as a Therapeutic Counsellor.  I am  now qualified and working as a counsellor for Teens in Crises. Working as a counsellor feels like a natural addition to working in theatre and I am excited to see how my roles develop both individually and together.
