Children learn best when they are enjoying themselves!
Red banana drama is a fun and practical way for children to learn and develop memory, perception, concentration, spatial awareness and imagination.
Drama activities provide us with lots of fun; we can go anywhere, be anyone, and do anything! We can meet lots of interesting people, visit different places, see things we have never seen before, explore new ideas, invent new gadgets, take part in exciting events, embark on crazy adventures, solve puzzles, practice helping mummy wash up and know about the way we feel!
One of the first activities that children do in early childhood is ‘pretend play’. Children instinctively engage in drama to develop their ability to understand and make sense of things. Through stories, sound, movement, pictures, objects, words, imagination and make-believe red banana drama draws on this natural talent of a child to make them active participants in the drama.
Practitioners captivate, inspire, motivate, and challenge the children by stepping into their magic ‘as if’ world….
As well as lots of enthusiasm and laughter your children will also be gaining important social, cognitive and language skills.
‘Children participating in well taught and planned drama activities will develop strong social skills, more confidence and a deep understanding of co-operation and team work’
